Limited Access –

The SA Whale Centre is a heritage building, even the soot that coats our walls is heritage listed! Unfortunately steep stair cases and lack of an elevator means that the Centre is not accessible across all 3 floors and our heritage listing makes this difficult to change.

In an effort to ensure all guests are able to enjoy the Centres secrets, Educational, Guided and Self-Guided tours are all available at a limited access rate.

These tours take place on our ground floor, where guests will have access to a range of displays including our impressive Southern Right Whale Skull.

Tours are available 7 days a week (Excluding Christmas Day) 10.30am – 5.00pm.

*Tours are available outside of regular operating hours at request and for a nominal fee.*
