Join us for a whale of a time! The SA Whale Centre offers flexible tours for groups of 12 or more people. Our tours run for 30, 45 or 60 minutes and are tailored to the age and knowledge of the booking group. Our dedicated and passionate guides will walk you through all 3 floors of the Whale Centre, elaborating on exhibits and presenting artefacts and information not shown on the Centre floor.

Open ended, self guided leisure tours are available for groups of 12 or more. Limited Access –
The SA Whale Centre is a heritage building, even the soot that coats our walls is heritage listed! Unfortunately steep stair cases and lack of an elevator means that the Centre is not accessible across all 3 floors and our heritage listing makes this difficult to change.
In an effort to ensure all guests are able to enjoy the Centres secrets, our range of tours are all available at a limited access rate. For more information on accessibility at the SA Whale Centre click here.
These tours take place on our ground floor, where guests will have access to a range of displays including our impressive Southern Right Whale Skull.
Tours are available 7 days a week (Excluding Christmas Day) 10.30am – 5.00pm.
*Tours are available outside of regular operating hours at request and for a nominal fee.*
