11:00am. Public Talk. Illegal Fishing. In many maritime regions of the world, illegal fishing has massively contributed to the depletion of fish stocks, especially in developing countries’ coastal waters.

1:00pm. Public Talk. Human Impacts on the Ocean. Marine debris is harmful to marine life and can have catastrophic and often fatal results. It can cause injury or death through drowning, injury through entanglement and internal injuries, or starvation following ingestion.
